Home Visits

If you require a home visit please telephone the surgery BEFORE 10.00AM if possible. This will help the doctors to plan their visits for the day. If you telephone the surgery after 10.00am and the condition is not urgent, please inform the receptionist that a visit the following day will be acceptable. Home visits should only be requested for patients who are unable to attend the surgery because of the nature of their illness, which are those who are too poorly or physically incapable. Ill children will always be seen as soon as possible if brought down to the surgery.

Please remember that the doctor can see several patients in the surgery in the time that it takes to make one house call.
